ALDC are teaming up with Divest UK to offer an exclusive webinar briefing for Liberal Democrats to discuss how to to best fight for Fossil Fuel Divestment within Local Authority Pension Funds.
The webinar will be held on Monday 29 November 2021 at 17:00 to 18:30. It is completely free and you can register to attend here.

• An introduction to the briefing and why ending fossil fuel investments should be a priority for Lib Dem councillors by UK Divest.
• Why divestment is the financially sensible thing to do by Mark Campanale, founder of Carbon Tracker, the world-leading green financial thinktank.
• A case study on divestment from Shropshire by Liberal Democrat Councillors on the pension fund who are voting to divest at the end of this month.
• A question and answer session where you can put your questions to the panellists.
