Nominations are now open for ALDC’s Local Campaigner Awards 2025.

We want to hear from you if you or a local party you are close to have enjoyed a great achievement this year. Categories are

  • Best Local Election Campaign
  • Best By-Election Campaign
  • Best Literature
  • Best Councillor Achievement
  • Presidents Award (for outstanding Lib Dem service)

Kickstart and Agents Weekend

The Liberal Democrat’s best training weekend for councillors and campaigners returns in November

November Kickstart takes place between 28 and 30 November 2025 in Staffordshire.

There will also be an Local Election Agents training stream at the weekend too.

Councillor Networks

ALDC is the largest Affiliated Organisation within the Liberal Democrats. 

We work with other Party Bodies to help Lib Dems win elections and support councillors and campaigners.
