New Councillor Webinars
ALDC has free webinars throughout 2025 to support you as a councillor and a campaigner.
Our popular New Councillor Programme takes place in May and June. There are seven webinars each on a different aspect of the role. It is a must for all new councillors. Sign up for each session for free.
Kickstart, Affinity and Councillor Weekend
The Liberal Democrat’s best training weekend for councillors and campaigners is back.
June Kickstart takes place between 20 and 22 June 2025 in Staffordshire.
There will also be the Councillor Weekend (in partnership with LGA Lib Dems) and a new weekend course on Affinity Publisher.
Councillor Networks
ALDC is the largest Affiliated Organisation within the Liberal Democrats.
We work with other Party Bodies to help Lib Dems win elections and support councillors and campaigners.
