ALDC is delighted to welcome Cllr Desmond Bouse as Scotland’s new Development Officer. Desmond will support local parties across Scotland with campaigning and political support.
Desmond got involved in the Liberal Democrats in 2019 at the University of Aberdeen, campaigning in that year’s General Election in Aberdeen South.
Half way through his degree he joined ALDC, picked a ward (George Street / Harbour) in Aberdeen city centre, built a campaign and won it in 2022 – taking a seat from the Conservatives. Following the election, the Liberal Democrat group entered administration and he was appointed as a senior councillor.
