ALDC are committed to electing more people from communities under-represented in politics to local government.
We receive funding from G8 for eight places at our flagship residential training weekend, Kickstart. The places are for Lib Dem members from an ethnic minority background with an interest in campaigning.
So, if you are a community campaigner who wants to see real change in your area, or if you want to stand for Parliament, or maybe you just want to find out more about a career in politics – apply now.
The process is competitive and the closing date is 15 June 2023.
The Kickstart weekend takes place at Yarnfield Park, Staffordshire on the weekend of 30 June to 2 July 2023. If you are successful, meals, accommodation, training and mentoring are all included. We can also help with travel costs. You can find out more about Kickstart here.
