Despite the odd nature of 2020, some things remain constant. One of these is our need to make the most of the campaigning opportunities around Christmas. With many of us facing a condensed election campaign into May 2021, we need to make the most of every opportunity to communicate with our residents.
Christmas literature, typically a card and a calendar, is a good way to communicate with residents in a slightly less political way than we do through Focus leaflets, street letters etc. You can still have a picture of yourself and your colleagues, with your contact details of course, but a warm greeting and seasonal message help to temper the political overtones.
It may seem a little bit early to be thinking about Christmas but designing, ordering, receiving, stuffing, bundling and delivering cards and calendars can take longer than you expect and it is easy for deadlines to slip as we all get busier.
