With the General Election race hotting up we’re excited to launch our Unaddressed Election Communication (also called Freepost or Election Address) templates for 2017.
ALDC members can use these templates to print or alter as they choose, however our print partners Election Workshop, are offering a bulk buy deal which you’re welcome to take part in. Contact them at email@example.com for more details and see the timetable here.
The Unaddressed Election Communication templates:
- Get the A3 PDF here. A3 PagePlus file here – including two options for an inside.
- Get the A4 PDF here. A4 PagePlus file here.
The bulk buy quotes for these are £1,600 for 40,000 A3 and £1,300 for 40,000 A4 but contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote specific to your area.
We recommend you localise these templates to meet your needs but please read the Royal Mail Candidate Mail requirements to make sure any changes you make comply with the law. If not, you will be liable to pay for the cost of delivery.
We recommend that you read the following documents and guidance and familiarise yourself with the process of an unaddressed Freepost. For those who would prefer to do an addressed Freepost, the 2017 Royal Mail Candidate Mail Requirements will still be useful.
Due to new rules from the Electoral Commission the entire cost of the Election Communication will need to be attributed to the ‘candidate’ portion of your election expenses. This is still the case even if you’re using 100% national wording or 100% national templates.
Oh dear, I could not open anything, I was told that the information contained suspect information!!! I don't use any odd programmes!
Tried again and it let me this time!!!!! All great material, thank you.
Ed, where do we find the data to help complete the "opposing school cuts" element of the A3 template?
