Harrogate Away Day Report

I’m starting to see evidence of the Liberal Democrat fightback all around me. On a Sunny day last Sunday the room we booked out for Harrogate’s away day was packed out. Given how few nice days we get in this country, is there any finer example of the sacrifice people are willing to make for the Liberal cause than spending a sunny day planning future electoral successes?

We had a really productive day, setting in place clear targets for County elections in 2017 and then the Borough Council elections that Harrogate has in 2018. Harrogate and Knaresborough was previously a held parliamentary consistency for us, and its places like this we will need to work towards regaining to make the fightback a success.

All group members of ALDC are entitled to an away day once a year. This is a great perk to having a group membership and we encourage all of our groups to take advantage of this offer. If you would like to arrange your group away day then please contact your ALDC development officer for your region
