Following the recent Portsmouth ‘Flying Start’ leaflets, neighbouring Gosport didn’t want to be left out of the action! So they sent us their full colour A3 folded to A4 leaflet that was delivered a week ago.
It includes an inside spread showing lots of photos of our councillors and candidates in action.
The outside (separate PDF) includes a window poster celebrating their local football team’s remarkable achievement in reaching the FA Trophy Final at Wembley.
Over 8000 local residents made the trip to Wembley and, although Gosport lost 4-0 to Cambridge, hundreds of our posters were displayed in local windows… much to the annoyance of the Gosport Football Club chairman who is also the Conservative Leader of Gosport Council!
Every time people displaying our poster opened their curtains in the morning they saw the front page of our Focus staring back at them!
