The next ALDC Kickstart Weekend takes place on the weekend of 20-22 November 2026 in Staffordshire.
This is the last Kickstart training weekend before the 2027 local elections in Scotland. You can find out more information and book your place using the link above.
I understand it is a long way to travel but the benefits far outweigh any inconvenience. If you are running for Council in next year’s elections or you are an experienced campaigner but feel you’re missing some of the tools, then this weekend is a MUST for you.
Local politics today is more fractious and febrile than it has been in many years. This weekend will provide you with the tools to build a team, make a plan and take the fight to the opposition
The weekend at Yarnfield Park in Staffordshire, gives you dedicated mentoring, great training targeted at winning local elections, plenary sessions and the chance to plan your campaign. Kickstart attendees are proven winners!
If we have a larger delegation from Scotland we can build our networks too and provide each other with the support and advice to help us win in Scotland.
The benefits far outweigh any costs or distance travelled. I hope to see many of you there.
