Earlier in the summer, along with the Federal Board, Party President Josh Babarinde MP launched the ‘Summer of Strategy’ to draft a new party strategy. Your ideas, workshop discussions and survey answers informed the draft strategy which was submitted to FCC for inclusion on the agenda at Autumn Conference.
Key themes are sharpening our national story and message, turbocharging our social media game to complement our pavement-pounding prowess, and consolidating in our areas of strength while being ambitious where we can win in Wales, Northern England, the Midlands and Urban Britain.

However, they are now ready for more feedback from councillors specifically.
The draft motion is a starting point that reflects what was heard. What is needed now is: what they got right, what they missed, and what would you change?
The party are holding an online session on Monday 3 August (5:30pm – 7:00pm), for councillors to be able to give feedback to Josh and the Federal Board on the draft strategy.
