On the Friday before conference, ALDC will be running a mini-conference on Local Government Reform.
The session will run from 2pm to 5pm at the Trouville Hotel, close to the Bournemouth International Centre.
Will Forster MP will be opening the mini-conference and giving a parliamentary update.
The conference will include sessions on:
- Fighting your unitary election
- Being in control of a new unitary
- Being an effective opposition on a new unitary
- Dealing with the finances on a new unitary
- Working with Town and parish councils
The conference will give councillors and campaigners the opportunity to meet and question senior councillors who have gone through the unitary process.
