Research by the Lib Dems has found that 7431 ferry sailings were cancelled in Scotland’s Western Isles between January and July 2022.
The ongoing fiasco with CalMac ferry services is the result of years of mismanagement from the SNP. With new ferries now 5 years overdue and two-and-a half times over budget the ageing CalMac fleet is suffering increasing numbers of faults and cancellations each year.
