ALDC are really excited for the upcoming Scottish Liberal Democrat Conference in Hamilton from 28-30 October – not only is it the first Scottish Conference in years to be in-person but it is also the first one since our brilliant local election successes.
This Conference is going to be a great opportunity to set the tone for our policy now we have considerably more influence in local Government in Scotland, and we really want to see as many councillors as possible to help develop that policy.
Not only that, but ALDC are going to be playing a big role in the Conference.
We are running a massive local election celebration event and as part of the team who helped us win big in May, you are invited!
There is also going to be ALDC training to help Councillors upskill in the more political aspect of their role – and we hope to see as many of our recently elected councillors as possible join us for this.
