On Wednesday last week Boris Johnson’s Conservative Government broke its manifesto guarantee and announced a rise in National Insurance to fund social care.
This will hit the youngest and the lowest paid hardest, while protecting the rich.
It is up to us to make sure voters are reminded of this fact – repeatedly – and especially if you live in a seat with a Tory MP who voted for the rise.
