ALDC are already well underway with phoning for the Richmond Park by-election but we need your help.
Richmond Park is a seat we held until 2010. We have a very large majority to overturn and whilst there is no Conservative candidate, Zac Goldsmith is standing as an independent. He has huge resources to call on, a high profile and the support of local Conservative activists. We need to hit the phones to remind people both of our opposition to a third runway and, in contrast to Zac, our anti-Brexit credentials in an area that overwhelmingly voted to remain in the EU.
Richmond Park is an incredible opportunity for our party and for you to build your skills at the same time.
There are three easy ways you can help on the phones:
1. Make calls from home. This could not be easier and if you are already on Connect, you should automatically see the list in the Virtual Phone Bank. Alternatively, please drop an email to Claire and she will set you up with an account.
2. If you live near Manchester, join ALDC in person every Thursday for our By-Election HQ Phone Bank at 23 New Mount Street from 6pm.
3. Think about organising your own phone night. Teams across the UK did this for the Witney by-election and we need even more of you to think about inviting your members along. Order the pizzas in and make a night of phoning!
