This is a great policy, and one that would not be happening without Liberal Democrats in government. We are seeing multiple attempts, by both Conservative and Labour councils, to take credit for delivering a freeze in council tax. With the cost-of-living a key issue in current political debate, it is important that we keep the Liberal Democrat role in delivering this tax freeze at the forefront of our local campaigns.
