The LGA Lib Dem Group has issued the following message cancellling the above event for tomorrow (7 January 2010).
I am afraid to tell you that, due to the worsening weather conditions, Gerald Vernon-Jackson no longer feels confident that he will be able to make it to London from Portsmouth tomorrow and has therefore asked that we cancel this event. Apologies for the short notice, but we thought it best to cancel at this point rather than ask everyone to travel in for what would be a severely truncated agenda.
I will send round any materials that I can gather from the speakers, the accounts department will be refunding all those who have already paid in due course.
