Next Gen 2025/26

The extremely popular ‘Next Generation’ programme for Liberal Democrat councillors will return this year for a new cohort of future Lib Dem leaders. 

The ‘Next Gen’ programme is run by ALDC and LGA Liberal Democrats. It is for talented and ambitious councillors who have demonstrated potential and would like to build on their skills to progress to a leadership role in their group and council.

The deadline for applications to Next Gen is on Friday 29 August 2025. Apply now and don’t miss out.
