Vacancy: Welsh Representative needed for ALDC Management Committee

We have a vacancy for the position of Welsh Representative on the ALDC Management Committee.

The Committee is made up of 19 members and is an important body which sets the organisation’s strategy ensures it operates effectively.

The Committee meets four times a year – meetings are either in Birmingham, Manchester or at the ALDC Kickstart venue (Staffordshire). All Committee members also serve on one sub-committee which meets every couple of months by video/phone conference. Committee members are very much encouraged to support ALDC at events like Party conferences.

The Welsh Representative is also key to our links with activists and the Party in Wales, ensuring we have good links with with the Welsh Party, councillors and activists.

The Management Committee is looking to co-opt a Welsh Representative to serve until November 2018. If you are interested, please could you email me (tim.pickstone@aldc.org) explaining briefly why you would be a good candidate for this position.

Please reply by the end of Wednesday 15 March 2017.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me (tim.pickstone@aldc.org).
