Our Christmas Card Bulk Buy deal returns this year – in partnership with printers Election Workshop.
Christmas cards aren’t overtly political, which residents appreciate, but allow you to get your softer year round campaigning message through. They are a very popular delivery to local residents in December. We would recommend everybody does them.

All templates are available in both ALDC Artworker and Affinity Publisher. Using ALDC Artworker in particular is extremely fast and you can get your cards and calendars done in a matter of minute.

Deadlines
Book your cards in for a 14 day turnaround or choose one of our bulk deadlines:
- Wednesday 15 October for return by Wednesday 29 October
- Wednesday 29 October for return by Wednesday 12 November
- Wednesday 12 November for return by Wednesday 26 November

Prices
ALDC member discount prices for your Christmas Cards are below. This includes VAT and Delivery. You can order your Christmas cards on their own – or with envelopes. We would always recommend stuffing your cards into envelopes. Just like a normal Christmas Card. This will give them the greatest impact when delivered to residents.
Blue Ink Letters
Christmas cards are most effective when a small handwritten blue ink letter insert is included. Similar to the blue and cream letters we do at election time. Election Workshop can produce your blue ink letter inserts for you. Prices are:
- White Paper – £16 per thousand
- Blue / Cream Paper – £18 per thousand
Plus a £10 delivery charge.

Blue or Cream A4 paper can also be supplied if you want to print your own blue ink letters at £9 a ream (500 sheets which equates to 1000 A5 blue ink letters).
Stuffed and Addressed Christmas Cards
Election Workshop can stuff your Christmas cards into envelopes for you for a further £36 per thousand.
You can also have your envelopes addressed in a blue ink hand-writing font for an additional £30.
Artwork Upload
If you design your cards using ALDC Artworker your artwork will be uploaded for print once you complete your design and place your order. If you are designing on Affinity you can upload your finished PDF here.
