It’s now only just around the corner – the Scottish Parliament election on May 7th is a huge opportunity for our party. We have both an unpopular SNP Scottish Government and a failing UK Labour one. With the Tories in decline, this election is a big chance for us to gain a host of new MSPs.
So, what should you be doing with the last few weeks to help us win?
First, find your closest target seat – we are aiming to win MSPs right across the country. Unsure of where your closest target seat is? Get in touch with our HQ team in Edinburgh: hq@scotlibdems.org
Secondly, offer to help – we always need new deliverers, canvassers, even just people to do office admin tasks! Every little makes a massive difference
If you’re involved in campaign planning, find your postal voter lists and target them – this will be around 40% of your voters so could make the difference between winning and losing
Finally, if you are in an organisation role within the campaign – make sure everyone knows the campaign plan, the key messages, and most importantly everyone knows what they are doing!
