Direct Mail is an essential component of an effective literature campaign. The recipients spend more time engaging with it than leaflets or any social media.
ALDC’s G8 mailings are a fantastic addition to any campaign, but the funding is limited and oversubscribed. G8 is two drops of direct mail (an A4 single sided letter and A4 double sided insert). These are are usually directed at squeeze voters. We would recommend that you do at least two deliveries to the same people to make sure your message sticks.
Many more wards use our ‘buy-in’ option to participate – which means paying in for the letters from local funding either posted or by hand delivery while taking advantage of bulk buy discounts.
We want to extend that offer to everyone.
You can choose posted or hand delivery.
The templates are here. Design with ALDC Artworker and pay here. Or you can design yourself and upload the PDF and pay here.
There are regular deadlines until polling day, and monthly thereafter. See here.

- Prices quoted are for an A4 single sided 100gsm letter mailmerged and an A4 double sided colour insert enclosed into a DL window envelope.. They include delivery by courier or postage respectively.
- If your insert is a poster, survey or intended to be kept by the recipient then the law is your mailing will have VAT added at 20%. The posted option already includes VAT at 20%, so this is only a concern for hand delivery. Where 20% will be added to the price.
