This is going to be a real problem for the progressives.
The far-right wins the seat on less than 35%.
Looking carefully the Green Party took a lot of our natural supporters.
The Conservatives didn't even stand.
The combined Green and Liberal Democrat vote was around 47% of the vote and would have ensured victory for the progressives.
I am sure that a deal could have been arranged.
We would much prefer the Greens to have won rather than the ultra right.
Then Greens support many of our policies.
The same applies to Wales with Plaid Cymru in Wales.
We did make a deal in 2019 general election, so why not now ?
Stop Reform UK proceeding with fascism in the UK.
