Under-representation of women in politics and public life is a big issue.
Liverpool Lib Dems are holding an event on Saturday 11 November 1-5pm at The Bridge, Chapel Heath Road, Liverpool L9 4HR to encourage more women to get involved in politics and public life.
Sharing their experiences will be councillors and school governors who will discuss their experiences and look at some things we can do to encourage more women to become involved in politics and public life.
The room we have hired is big enough for you to bring small children along as long as you are able to supervise them! The event is open to Liberal Democrat members but we would like you to bring along a guest so we can involve as many women as possible.
