Our course is designed as a starting out with Connect for those new to using the programme. You will need to bring a laptop to work on and have a Connect account.
The course will cover:
- An introduction to Connect
- How to create different lists and export them
- Inputting data
- Making the most out of the virtual phone bank system and My Campaign
The training will be held at the Hermitage Hotel, Exeter Road, Bournemouth BH2 5AH, 11am – 5pm on Friday 13 September.
This is FREE to ALDC members, but booking is limited to 20 participants who must pre-register, bring their own laptop and have their own Connect account.
It would be good if you could do an online webinar/training or at least record this and post it so we can see it. Any chance of this?
Hi Matthew, we do offer Connect as one of our webinars - you can see the upcoming ones on the Events page.
There are no current plans to record our training and post it, this is partly because the training uses personal data. In addition, as this is a full day of training, our experience is that it doesn't translate well - essentially it needs the people learning to be in the same room as the trainer.
However, there are resources, such as Quick Sheets, which we can provide which do go through Connect. In addition, we have our Advice service which you can call 9-5 every working day and our advice officer that day will be happy to answer any questions and give you some handy tips.
