There is an innovative new event making its way to London early next year, a Councillor Camp, led by Future Gov. Here is the idea, in their own words:
The idea of holding an event around digital and social stuff with local politicians has been bounced around here at FutureGov HQ many times in recent years. And now, coming in January 2013, we’re finally just getting on and doing it [...]
The day will be an opportunity for local politicians to share how they’re using social and digital media to engage, campaign and change the way services are delivered to their residents.
The Camp will take place on Saturday 12th January at the new London headquarters of Facebook. Non-councillor places have already sold out, but spaces remain for both principal and town/parish councillors.
