Tuesday 26 April 2011 13:46

Only a few days left now to the important local elections in England; and General Elections in Scotland and Wales. Across the country, including those areas of Engand without local elections we have the important referendum on Fairer Votes, and many colleagues will be lending their support to neighbours who DO have local elections!

Good luck with your campaigning!

Advice

ALDC is open during office hours to deal with advice on election law and campaign techniques. This on 01422 843 785, or click on the "Get Advice" link on the website.

We are open on polling day for URGENT queries, though the vast majority of staff will be out winning elections!

We are open on Friday 6 May 2011 as normal. Arrangements will be put in place to provide advice to all council groups who find themselves in a "changed circumstance", or in a No Overall Control situation. Remember always talk to other Liberal Democrats first!

Results

For the English Local Elections Cowley Street will be collecting results overnight on Thursday night and on Friday 6th May. We will be in touch separately with details of how you can get in touch with your results and any useful news.

Separate arrangements will be made in Scotland and Wales for your General Elections.

ALDC will be publishing our analysis of the results on our website from the morning of Friday 6th May and as results come in during that day.
