Volunteers
ALDC relies on the work of people supporting the organisation in a voluntary capacity to support its work.
At present volunteering is being developed in the following three areas:
- Training Volunteers
ALDC works through the Liberal Democrat Party accredited trainer scheme to achieve “ALDC” accreditation for a group of voluntary trainers. Trainers provide ALDC’s training at conferences and events.
- Regional Advisors
We are currently developing a network of regional advice volunteers to improve our advice and service to members throughout Britain.
- Conference Volunteers
Conference volunteers assist ALDC’s presence at federal, regional and state conferences and at the annual Local Government Conference.
