Congratulations to Tavish Scott MSP, who this morning has been announced as Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats. He was elected through an all-member ballot with 59% of the first preference votes.
Prior to being elected to the Scottish Parliament, Tavish was a local councillor from 1994 to 1999 Tavish Scott was a local councillor representing Lerwick Harbour and Bressay Ward on Shetland Islands Council. Since 2007 Tavish has been our Spokesperson on Local Government in the Scottish Parliament.
